Anna "Ann" Lou (Stone) Hinant

       Anna "Ann" Lou (Stone) Hinant, age 73 of Harrisburg, passed away at 7:45 PM, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at her residence in Harrisburg.
      Ann was born on December 3, 1949, in Harrisburg to the late Willie and Thelma (Penrod) Stone.  On December 19, 1964, she married David William Hinant, who affectionately referred to her as "Lou". David preceded her in death on May 30, 2021. Ann was a member of the Dorrisville Baptist Church. Ann was a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother.  Her grandkids were her "pride and joy". She was dearly loved by her brothers and sisters, and she was a friend to all who knew her.
      Ann is survived by two children, John Hinant and wife Sherry Graham Hinant of Harrisburg; Shanna Hinant and Dana Maloney of Marion; three grandchildren, Eric Hinant of Kentucky, and Tyler and Tehlar Maloney of Marion; sister, Wanda Reed of Marion; sister, June Winkleman of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; sister, Naomi Rogers of the Lake of Egypt; sister, Cindy Messamore of Hartford, Kentucky; brother, Willie Stone Jr. and wife Carol of Annadale, Virginia; brother, Bobby Stone and wife Chris of Carrier Mills; and extended family, John and Debbie Bush of Harrisburg.
      In addition to her parents and husband, David, Ann was preceded in death by a brother, James Stone, and two sisters, Alberta Wright and Kay Browning.
      Funeral services for Anna Lou (Stone) Hinant will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. The Rev. Donnie Hughes will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
